The staff made this stay memorable for me as a solo traveler. Everyone was welcoming and kind, and they went out of their way to make sure I felt looked after. I also appreciated that it’s an African-owned property; it felt more personal and authentic to me than the large multinational chains. The rooms are lovely, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed meals in the peaceful garden restaurant, and Village Market is just a very short, safe walk away. It’s a lovely outdoor mall, my favorite in Nairobi, with good places to eat and gifts to browse. I’d absolutely stay here again and recommend it.

The evening atmosphere was lovely, and we’re already looking forward to going back. My family and I had a great visit to Cozy Stead. Valerie was phenomenal, and the service was impeccable. The food was fresh, well seasoned, and served in good portions. It took a while because it’s made fresh, but my daughter was right, it was worth the wait. We enjoyed everything, especially those goat ribs, they really hit the spot.

The King Suite was worth booking. It was spacious, with a comfortable bed, a balcony I liked, and room to get some work done. Having both a tub and shower was a nice extra. It was quiet, and the staff were very welcoming.

A peaceful restaurant with excellent service, and the lunch was delicious, especially the mbuzi 😋😋. I’ll definitely return. It’s one of Nairobi’s best lunch spots, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a serene hotel and restaurant in Gigiri.

The manager and her team surprised me with a thoughtful birthday celebration, and I’m so grateful. Their care with all the little details and the warm atmosphere made me feel truly celebrated. It was a day full of kindness, love, and joy, not just a birthday. Cozy Stead is where memories are made, and I’ll remember this one forever.
