I've been there three times. The first two visits, I was with Chinese nationals and we got a warm reception and quick service. On my third visit, with my sister and some British friends who were also black, things felt very different. No one offered us a table, so we had to ask, and once we sat down nobody came to take our order. After waiting half an hour, we went to nearby China town instead. When we left, security checked our bags, while Chinese customers walked past without anyone checking theirs. It was very annoying.

A few days after my one-night stay, I wrote a review but still can't find it. I don't know why it hasn't appeared. The hotel was, without question, the dirtiest I've ever stayed in.

The staff were great, but there was no aircon in the rooms.
