The pool and gym were excellent, and I made good use of both during my stay. I was in Nairobi for work for more than a week, and Gem Suites was also an easy short walk from my office, with shops and restaurants in Westlands nearby. From check-in through departure, everything went smoothly. The staff were kind and courteous, especially the breakfast crew. Nelson, Stanley, Eveline and Joy took great care of me even when they were really busy.

I went to the hotel for the spa and a meal, intending to spend money there. Instead, I was made to feel like I was begging. The person who said he was the manager spoke to me in a completely unprofessional way and even threatened to have me thrown out, saying he had the power to do that. I felt disrespected and discriminated against. Is that how a customer should be treated?

The place was exceptionally clean, and the food was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay. The staff were warm and professional, and I'd happily recommend staying here.

On 14th October 2025, at around 7:00 PM, I had one of my worst hotel experiences. I came to use the spa and have dinner, ready to spend my money, but the person claiming to be the manager treated me as if I were begging. While I was praying, he disrespected me and threatened to throw me out, saying he was the manager and could do whatever he wanted. I felt humiliated and discriminated against. The rudeness and intimidation were shocking, and this was a far cry from the hospitality a customer should receive.
