In Nairobi’s central business area, at the junction of Lagos Road and Latema, the hotel has several services, from rooms to a restaurant. It’s quite affordable and friendly. The food is good, and the bar drinks are priced reasonably too. The rooms are spacious and clean. If you’re in Nairobi, have a look.

A great spot amid downtown Nairobi’s chaos, especially in the evening after a busy day. The ambience is just right, and the music’s loud enough to enjoy but still easy to talk over. The food is delicious and fairly priced: 650/= bob gets you half kg Mbuzi, two portions of Ugali, and a plate full of spinach. Drinks are reasonably priced too, with Guinness kubwa at 270/= and other beers at 250/=. Definitely worth a visit.

Just a few steps away, there are shops, restaurants and matatu stages, so getting around or finding a quick meal is easy. Lagos Hotel sits on Lagos Road in central Nairobi, close to Tom Mboya Street, Latema Road and the busy CBD markets. It feels calm and safe despite being right in town. The rooms are clean, the staff welcoming, and the rates are affordable. A quiet little find with good value for travelers.
