The restaurant never opened, though Daniel and Soshi each made us breakfast. The rooftop sitting area was nice, but its bar never opened either, and the outside bar wasn't stocked. Daniel and Soshi were both very helpful. Our room was large and clean, with nice hot showers. It felt like the off season over New Years.

Worst experience I've had, even worse than the camp site during the safari. I'm giving one star only because zero isn't an option. The room was in bad shape, with about half the wall paint coming off. The sheets, pillows, and towel were dirty, bugs and lice were everywhere, and I got several bites. Service was trash too. Nobody gave a briefing, and two of the people working there were completely unserious. They chatted so loudly I could hear them in my room. My booking included breakfast, but they said there was no such thing, even though I saw a small dining room on the ground floor. They also told me I couldn't pay by credit or debit card because their POS machine wasn't working. I didn't have enough local currency, though I had enough US dollars, and they refused those too. They even suggested I go to the airport to exchange money. Then they forced me into a “cab” with a hotel staff member to an ATM about 400 meters away. The driver charged me 10 US dollars, about what an Uber from the airport to downtown costs. I felt I had no way out of it and had to pay because I didn't want to get hurt, if you know what I mean. If you're thinking of staying here, you know what to do.

It's a lovely place to stay, clean, private, and safe. The staff are generally welcoming, and they can provide anything you want. There's secure parking, free wifi, a hot shower, and a high standard of cleaning.

The place is dirty, from the washrooms and rooms to the compound. Electricity has been disconnected for over two years, and they stock nothing, as if there are no funds. The worst place to think of. It should be shut down.

The rooms are well maintained and have mosquito nets. It's a great place with good customer service, and they offer bed and breakfast.
