The cottages were clean and comfortable, and my wife especially enjoyed the bathtub. We also liked having a restaurant right there, with dinner outdoors and breakfast from the indoor buffet. The staff paid close attention and tried to make sure we got what we wanted. Inside the property, it felt like a safe, green hideaway behind a wall, a real break from the busy city. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in Nairobi.

The breakfast spread was really generous, and having the restaurant within the grounds was handy. The wooden cottages are beautifully done inside and very comfortable, with trees, flowers and birds all around. 👌🏼

A quiet, peaceful spot in the middle of Karen, with lovely gardens to wander around and great spa facilities. The wooden cottages feel homey and come well equipped, with comfortable beds and a great shower. We had a full breakfast at the restaurant too.

We’d happily stay here again. Our cabin was roomy and comfortable, the grounds were lovely and well cared for, and the staff were excellent and accommodating. The Wi-Fi was also strong enough for streaming and video calls.

It felt safe, and the security team were great. The staff were just as good, friendly, efficient and really attentive. Severine cottages feels like a little sanctuary, with barely any sense of being in Nairobi. It’s only about 30 minutes by Uber to the city, though.
