We really enjoyed the pool and the stay, with food included throughout the day. Hospitality was very good, and the food was top notch. There’s a rooftop bar and restaurant, and in the early morning you can hear pelicans calling because it’s near Lake Nakuru. Wi-Fi only worked at reception, the bar, and restaurant, though, not in the rooms. An intercom would help too, since we had to walk to reception whenever we needed something.

The staff were the best part for us. They were warm and attentive, and made a real effort to help us feel welcome. The rooftop bar was another highlight, a nice place to unwind and it stays open fairly late. We also had a pool to cool off in. We came as part of a budget safari and got a welcome drink on arrival, which was a lovely touch. The modern rooms were comfortable, and the shower pressure felt especially good after long days out. It’s about a 30-minute drive to Lake Nakuru, handy for exploring nearby. Food was decent and satisfying, though the buffet didn’t have a huge selection. For a budget safari stay, it was more than we expected.

We had a great time at this lovely hotel. The room was huge for what we paid, with three beds and two bathrooms for just the two of us. They welcomed us with tea, and the rooftop patio was a nice spot to have a drink before dinner. Highly recommend!

The welcome at reception was warm, and the staff were friendly, which I appreciated. But the room itself was cramped and uncomfortable, so the stay was unpleasant despite the washroom being decent. The food arrived cold and tasted stale. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed, and service suffered. It didn’t meet my expectations, and I wouldn’t return.

Dinner and breakfast were included, so the lack of things to do nearby wasn’t an issue for us. There’s little around apart from a gas station. We were here on a safari trip, booked through the safari agency, and it’s conveniently just a 20-minute drive from the south entrance of Nakuru NP. Our room was on the fifth floor. It was clean and spacious, though a little old. The shower was especially welcome after long days driving and on game drives. Both meals were buffets with enough food choices.
