The gardens are lovely for weddings and similar events, and the kitchen staff kindly warmed up my baby's food, which I really appreciated. But the pool was dirty, and there was no pool attendant there, despite the warning on the wall. We spent about 2/3 hours there without anyone checking if we wanted a drink or anything, so we just swam and ordered lunch elsewhere.

We spent Easter weekend here, and it was a great spot for a break. The pool was cold but relaxing, the kids had a massive play area, and there was free WiFi, a hot shower, and a fireplace that actually worked. Pack all your essentials if you can. Kudos to management and the whole team.

The food was one of the best parts of our stay in Kenya. Meals come from the garden just 50 m away, and the chef is very gifted. I especially recommend the pork chops, while my wife preferred the beef wet style. Breakfast began with fresh fruit, then usually eggs made to order, beans, homemade bacon, and sausage. They can also prepare lunch to go if you're out for the day. Putting in your next meal order at the previous meal gives them time to harvest and prep. The mango mint juice drinks were exceptional. The cottages are standalone and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of light and details like crown molding and rot-iron windows. Inside, there is a kitchen with what you need to cook, a spacious living room with a big comfy couch, TV, and loveseat, plus a large bedroom with a comfortable bed. The wash basin and walk-in shower and toilet room had hot water. The resort sits in a quiet spot between Naro Muro and Nanyuki. The grounds are impressive, with a large indoor and outdoor dining area, a pool, children's play space, manicured lawns grazed by sheep, vegetable gardens, and a street of cute cottages and fruit trees including mulberry, loquat, guava, and others. There are meals, a bar, night time fire pits, and astounding lodging. Everyone was attentive, kind, and sweet. Mwangi, the current manager, went the extra mile and could help arrange local tours and transport. The weather was warm during the day and cool at night, with Mt Kenya nearby. Definitely worth staying, whether for a small conference, wedding celebration, or a relaxing getaway.

We were five people traveling on a tight budget and stayed here before taking on Mt Kenya. It was convenient, and the staff were very service minded, going out of their way to accommodate what we needed.
