The meals are delicious, and everything was very clean, especially the room. It’s a great place to stay outside Kisii town. I recommend it.

I really enjoyed my visit. Everyone was thoughtful, welcoming, and cheerful, and the food was great. Sammy was especially welcoming, and Ms Martha cleaned my hiking shoes without me even asking. I thought that was so sweet, I had to ask around to find out who’d done it. The staff have all been a delight. I’d recommend staying here! :)

Service has slipped under the new management, while the hotel is under receivership.

Our group had a junior suite and three cottage rooms. There were small issues in each room, but staff fixed them when we mentioned them. They showed us the available rooms before check-in, and were friendly and helpful throughout. The grounds are beautiful. The dining room and food were decent, though nothing exceptional.

The hotel is nice, but one lady had so much attitude that we ended up leaving our food. Maybe she was just having a bad day. I’ll go back and enjoy their meals another time.
