The place is clean and quiet, with a really nice setting away from the noisy Thika Super highway. I didn't find anything else especially special, though. The meals cost quite a bit for the quality, but I'd still be willing to come back. I'd recommend it, as long as you keep your expectations down.

The pool never seems crowded, and the ambience is great. It's a lovely hotel, though a bit pricey.

The setting is lovely and peaceful, but the food was average and could use more variety, including fruit. The fruit ran out and wasn't replenished, and the waiters had disappeared from the buffet. We had to open our own sodas because there was no opener, then find waiters to clear the plates. I can't tell whether they're just starting up or closing down. They need a bit of passion.
