We heard lions and leopards every night at this lovely, peaceful camp in a beautiful part of the reserve. The budget tents were excellent value, and the team, Wilson, Kelvin, Charlotte, and Rael, were incredible. They made delicious food, taught us a lot about the reserve, and did so much to make our stay special. The morning drives with Wilson and Kelvin felt magical. We saw loads of wildlife, both large and small, and on the second morning they arranged a fantastic ranger guided walk for us. Thanks so much. I hope to return soon!

The game drives were amazing, though we paid for them separately. We also arranged paid transport from the Samburu Kalama airstrip after flying in with Safarilink Airlines. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food tasty and filling, and staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great time and highly recommend it.

We had a lovely two-night stay at Samburu Riverside Camp. It’s in a great spot inside the national park, and the tents were spacious and clean. The mosquito nets worked really well, and we had electricity all day and night. The food was amazing, and the staff were very kind and helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The lodge strikes a great balance between comfort and sustainability, which mattered to us. We also wanted to book with a Kenyan owned company rather than a foreign one. The staff know the local plants and wildlife well and have plenty of experience. Food was authentic and delicious, and we felt it was safe. Our camp close to the river meant many animals were nearby, and we had a fantastic stay.

It’s not right on the river, though it’s only about a minute’s walk to the public campsite or a two-minute drive to the bridge. The camp is close to the rangers’ HQ post and public campsite.
