The lodge location is good and the service was good, too. It’s also possible to drive around the lodge at night. The camp has comfortable tents, with a lake right in front. You’d never guess there are big crocs and hypos in the water. A ranger can protect you on a walk around the lake, which was fantastic.

We spent two nights at this beautiful, spacious camp while on safari. The food was the best we had during our whole seven-day trip. In the evening, hearing hippos bellow as they came out of the water was a special experience.

The tents are basic but comfortable and keep the mosquitoes out, and at night you can hear all kinds of animal sounds. The food was excellent, and the service was friendly and superb. The property is spacious and well maintained, set beside a dammed pond where hippos, crocodiles, and turtles frolic. Monkeys and crocodiles also live on the grounds. Highly recommended!
