I stayed for a week while working remotely, and choosing this place was the best decision. It was so quiet and peaceful that I slept wonderfully. The distant tinkling of the glass wind chimes and the clean linen scent were lovely. Agnes and her staff were incredibly warm, made delicious food whenever I asked, and have a great collection of books. It’s a good choice if you want to unwind away from Watamu’s touristy areas, which are only minutes away. My one criticism is the wifi for digital nomads, though mobile data worked perfectly. Book directly with them for the best deal.

We loved our stay here. The host was welcoming and freely shared information, and everyone we met was friendly. Our room was clean, the food was very nice, and the pool was clean and open all the time. There was hot water, which I appreciated because cold water triggers my sinus issues. It’s a well-maintained hidden gem, fairly priced and close to most Watamu attractions. I have no complaints and would definitely stay again.

Agnes looked after us so well, and she can call drivers she trusts when you need a tuc tuc to the beach, which is easy to get to. We loved the quiet, the garden and pool, our big room and all the decorations. Such a lovely place to stay. We highly recommend it.

The food was fresh and delicious, and the pool, rooms and grounds were kept clean and in good shape. Granny, her daughter and staff members like Sophie made us feel welcome. Even though we stayed just five nights, it felt very warm and familiar. This was a beautiful end to our trip around Kenya, and one of the loveliest places we've stayed. A real five stars and more. Asante Sana!!!
