Kasa Tatu Cottages Villa

The people here are what stay with you. Simon, the owner, has a huge heart and cares deeply about improving Watamu. When we ran into a problem, he helped us with a smile and made us feel like family. Cantima cooked wonderfully and went the extra mile to make all my meals 100% gluten-free because I’m celiac. Kelvin, Mary, and Sharon kept the rooms spotless each day and were always smiling. Lenox took us on trips in the modern electric tuk-tuks and took some beautiful photos, while Joseph, the security guard, greeted us warmly and was ready to help, so we felt safe from the first day. Kasa Tatu was the highlight of our Watamu trip. The elegant villa has lovely details and made it easy to switch off. The peaceful garden, inviting pool, comfortable beds, places to relax, and large, fully equipped kitchen were all even better than the photos. It really was a dream villa, and the people made it feel like family. We hope to come back soon.

The location made getting around simple, with the house near the main road between Garoda Beach and Watamu. We could reach everything by motorbike taxi or tuk-tuk, and the beautiful beach was a five-minute walk away. Kasa Emma was our first stop in Kenya, and Simon and his team gave us a genuinely warm welcome. The house was beautiful, carefully designed, and cleaned every day. The team were friendly, and Simon was always ready with activity tips or help with anything we needed. We didn’t miss a thing, and the Wi-Fi worked without interruption. We’ll definitely return one day.

The house was clean and had everything we needed, and getting around Watamu was easy from its good location. We had a chef during our stay, and the food was fantastic. Simon, Anita, and their team were wonderful from booking right through to departure. They helped with errands, arranging transport, and shopping, which made everything easy. We really enjoyed the stay and hope to be back soon.

Simon and the staff were fantastic, and the villa had everything we needed, with supplies well stocked. I stayed with friends for a week in these dream cottages, and it felt like paradise. We could even leave laundry and get it back washed, dried, and ironed the same day. Such a great stay!
