We paid £66 for two nights, and for that price it did what we needed. The 24/7 concierge made check-in easy when our flight landed at 4 a.m. The bed is really hard, but you get what you pay for.

The room at IO Hotel was clean, modern, and well equipped, so it felt like good value for the price. The one thing that bothered us was an unpleasant smell from the bed linens. Something in the washing process may need to be changed. Apart from that, we had a good stay and would consider coming back if they address the smell.

The WiFi was strong and the hotel was very clean. There’s a mini bar.coffee place in the lobby, and the customer service went above and beyond. Aidana (the general manager) is very switched on and will help with pretty much anything. I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels as a flight attendant, and I think they’re doing an amazing job. I’ll definitely come back.
