Guest House LETO

The garden, with its black, red, and yellow cherry trees alongside apple and pear trees, was lovely. It’s a comfortable, relaxing house with only a limited number of rooms, and the service was good. There’s no air conditioning, though. I might stay there again.

The friendly service was a plus. Otherwise, it’s just somewhere to spend the night before moving on, especially if you haven’t found anything better. The dining room is small, and there’s no grounds yet.

The room was clean, breakfast was good, and I can’t fault the staff at Leto Guesthouse. The noise through the walls, though, was awful. We could hear everything, especially with a large group next door. Students were put in the room beside ours and kept us up in the evenings and at night. After three sleepless nights, we wanted to check out, but Elena charged us a fine and made us feel guilty. We were only hoping for some peace and a decent night’s sleep. We were disappointed in the owner, and we’ll never return to Leto Guesthouse.

For 3,000 rubles, the double room with breakfast seemed very reasonably priced for peak season. It’s a nice little hotel right by the road. The neighbors’ roosters may wake you early, but that leaves plenty of time to explore the lovely area around Lake I-Kul.
