The doorman was very friendly and showed us where to go, and despite arriving two hours after check-in time we were let in. The host never replied to my several messages asking about a late check-in, though it did work out. The room was dirty, with marks on the walls and carpets, and it felt old. There was a balcony, but no chairs, and we weren’t sure it was safe to sit out there. Breakfast was hardly worth mentioning. The shower was moldy, so I didn’t use it. I felt safer that way. I’d go somewhere else.

The staff were very friendly and the service was excellent, and the location is great. The hotel is a bit dated, though, and things feel somewhat worn.

People were shouting in the garden until 1 a.m., and there was no sound insulation from either inside or outside. Our room was old and outdated. The woman at the entrance couldn’t speak English and wasn’t very friendly. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The room felt old and outdated, with dust and dirty floors. There was even a used glass left in the bathroom. Before that, we had to look around the hotel for staff to check in, and the woman who eventually helped us didn’t seem to care or make us feel welcome.

The one bright spot was the sunset from our balcony last night. Otherwise, this was one of the most disappointing hotels we’ve stayed in. The shower had almost no pressure, and breakfast was a horror show. Two stars feels generous.
