We had a lovely three-night stay at this beautiful resort. The bed was especially comfortable, and we woke up rested each morning. From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, which made us feel at home. I’d highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway, and can’t wait to return.

The staff were so sweet and supportive throughout my stay, and when I needed medicine they arranged it quickly. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the place was convenient and felt like home, which was exactly what I needed. Breakfast could use more options, but the food was great even with the limited choices. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Kampot. I really don’t have much to complain about.

The green, spacious garden was such a nice place to relax, and the clean pool was a great size for swimming a few laps. Stone Age has tasteful architecture and decor with a cosy feel. The owners are kind and the staff are very helpful. I love everything about this place.

I paid $142 for two nights expecting a relaxing stay, but it turned into the worst travel experience I’ve had. The room didn’t match the listing, hygiene was a serious problem, and the owner, Dy, was incredibly rude. There were literally hundreds of red ants in the bed. I woke up covered in bites both nights, and ants got into my luggage too. The wooden window panels were held together poorly with sellotape and rattled all night, so sleeping was impossible. I’d booked the family room specifically for the outdoor bathtub, but it was completely unusable, which made the whole reason for choosing the place pointless. The booking profile was misleading, and the room was far from what the photos promised. The resort is supposedly brand new, but it seemed to have little or no experience running a proper hotel. When I asked Dy for a refund, he brushed me off and said he “didn’t have time to talk to me.” I’d raised these problems during my visit and got no resolution, so I expected some professionalism and accountability afterward. Instead, he was indifferent. I wouldn’t stay here. There are plenty of better options in Kampot offering actual luxury standards for a fraction of the price, without false advertising, unsanitary conditions, and an owner who doesn’t care about guests.
