The stay was good overall, and the location is close to everything you need. There's a diner downstairs, but no elevator. The internet was the one thing I didn't like, it was so bad that working was difficult.

The pictures online don't do this downtown hotel justice. It feels much fancier and nicer in person, with big rooms and a clean pool that has enough shade for those of us with pale skin who burn. Lots of shops and restaurants are an easy walk away. The breakfast is quite small, so big eaters might find it meager. It suited us, though, since we don't usually eat much in the morning.

The old time charm of the lobby was quite nice, and the hotel is easy to reach from Lucky Supermarket. But getting to the rooms means climbing a couple of flights, and the rooms were dark and dank. The one I was shown had holes in the wall where a TV may once have been mounted. I didn't stay.

The manager was really friendly and accommodating, and made the stay fun for the girls. We were lucky to be there during Khmer New Year and join the water fights. It's close to town and the staff were lovely, but service was a little slow, possibly because of Khmer New Year. We stayed three nights as a family, and the room was only serviced once, which was difficult with young children. The food was nice but the menu was very plain and could use more choices. The pool looked a bit worn, so the girls weren't very excited to swim. The rooms need updating, and housekeeping should check that they have all the amenities. There were only three of everything for the four of us.
