Kep Lodge

The lodge sits in a quiet, safe area and the garden, hammocks, pool, billiards and table tennis made it easy to unwind. Kep National Park is very close, and I even saw a monkey come in without disturbing anyone. I had three wonderful days here. The spacious rooms were clean and comfortable, with both a heater and AC, and every staff member was friendly, helpful and smiling. Getting around takes some thought. It’s a bit far from the beach, town and even small shops, and the Crab Market is about a 20-minute walk away. On the way, you may run into groups of dogs behind other fences that can be a bit aggressive, so walking alone or at night might not feel ideal. Luckily the resort offers tuk-tuk rides and transport to other towns. If you want a peaceful, comfortable nature escape, I’d happily come back.

The food was good, and my room was clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and helpful. I had a good stay at Kep Lodge.

We stayed four nights and loved the big, clean room with its large terrace. The guy at reception was so, so nice, friendly and helpful! There was a good choice at breakfast, and we loved the coffee. The pool area was beautiful in the afternoons, and the hotel is in a quiet area. We’d definitely come back!

The owner spoke about his work on a campaign to keep Kep beaches clear of rubbish, a serious problem in Southeast Asia, including piles of waste in waterways. It was clear he cares about the local community. We had a fantastic stay, with lovely food, welcoming people, and a clean, beautiful room. The pool stayed uncrowded, with plenty of cozy spots to lounge and lots of cocktails. Highly recommend.
