The pools and restaurant were good, and the hotel is beautifully built on a hill beside Kep national park. But aggressive monkeys made our stay difficult. They attacked my wife while she was showering in the open bathroom and left poop in the sink. After six days, we were able to move to a room with a closed bathroom, which we really appreciated. Staff do their best to drive the monkeys away with catapults, but the animals aren't afraid of people and jump onto restaurant tables to grab food. We were told the problem began after Covid, and there doesn't seem to be a solution yet.

The views stretch over greenery toward the sea, and the setting in the mountains is quiet and laid-back. Food and drinks were both great, and it felt family-friendly, though maybe less suited to very adventurous toddlers. If you're one of those Ken's and Karen's who can't stand children or the noise they make 😂, keep that in mind. Staff were attentive, with a little waiting during the busy evening rush. I'd recommend coming by day or night.

Our villa, V6, had a private balcony, an outdoor bathroom, and a hammock that became our favorite place to unwind. The resort was the highlight of our quick trip to Kep. It's an eco lodge with lush grounds, within an easy walk of the beach and crab market. Manout at reception was welcoming and helpful, and stayed responsive while arranging our accommodation over email. Everyone we met was friendly, and the staff were excellent. I only wish they wore name tags so I could remember who to thank. We loved the restaurant, especially the generous breakfast buffet with Western and Eastern options and an egg station. The sunset views there were amazing. The spa was lovely too, and the prices were hard to beat. We tried the Khmer massage package with foot and face massages and came out feeling like new people. A great stay for the value.

The setting was nice, though a little cut off from other restaurants. Staff were friendly, but spoke little English. Breakfast was just okay, and the restaurant itself was ordinary. We enjoyed happy hour, although the drink selection was limited.
