The Beach House

I liked the beach house, with its old-world charm and friendly staff. The room isn’t luxurious, but it has what you need for a comfortable stay. It’s in a lovely spot at the quieter end of Kep beach. There’s no lift, so the many stairs could be challenging for some. Breakfast with a view was lovely. The veg fried rice was great, and there are Western breakfast options too.

The location is a highlight, right across the street from the beach. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was good, and everyone working there was friendly and helpful. Service was great. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

The beach house was a wonderful, quaint hotel, more like a nice bed-and-breakfast in one of America’s historic towns than a fancy resort. It’s right across from kep beach, in a great location, with a cozy, classic beach cottage feel. The design is simple and beautiful, with lots of rock work and a great layout. The common area was welcoming, and the pool was beautiful. It isn’t overly modern or slick, but the ambience is lovely. We had breakfast included, and it was very nice. All the staff went out of their way to be friendly and help with anything we needed, and seemed to really care that we had a good time in Kep. One morning the manager asked about our dinner plans and suggested the restaurant on the hotel grounds. We went that evening, and the food was delicious, expertly prepared, hot, and served very quickly. I’d definitely recommend it.

The location is perfect, just across a relatively quiet road from a beautiful, tranquil beach. Set high up, the property catches the sea breezes and offers a panoramic view of Kep Beach. It’s clean, the service is excellent, and the staff are fantastic, always helpful and obliging. Special thanks to “Sun Sothea” for all his amazing efforts on our behalf, he’s a great manager. I was excited when I booked, and while it didn’t quite meet my expectations, it was still more than acceptable. The property is well designed and has great facilities, though a few things look tired and need maintenance, mostly cosmetic. Like many places, it seems to have suffered a little over the Covid period. They’re doing exceptionally well with the resources available. We enjoyed ourselves, and nothing significant would stop you having a relaxing coastal experience here. There’s great potential, and the owner seems to recognize it: a brand new wing is scheduled to open in 2026. I’d gamble on putting some additional resources toward refurbishing the existing areas, which may well be the long-term plan. A great place to enjoy Kep.
