There's lots of space here, with a pool and playground for kids, calm streets, friendly staff, and a well-stocked breakfast buffet. Having lunch under the palm huts was nice, too. Motorbikes are cheap and easy to rent, a Scoopy was $8 a day. It's a bit far to walk to the action in Kep, and tuk-tuks overcharge, for example $5 to the beach. If crab isn't your thing, the food selection is limited and more expensive than usual.

We had a lovely stay at Vakara Hotel Kep. The friendly, welcoming staff and good service made things comfortable, and our room was clean. We really enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend it.

The views are lovely, and the staff were very polite with tip-top service. For the price, the buffet breakfast was wonderful. There's a kids' playground, a swimming pool, and a steam sauna with separate rooms for men and women. We were greeted with a refreshing drink and cold towel when we arrived. Highly recommended for a quick getaway in Kep town.

We had a wonderful, quiet, relaxing getaway at Vakara Hotel. It's beautiful and clean, and the staff were super friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to help. One room had accidentally been booked a day too early, but they sorted it out without charging a fee. They also helped us celebrate a birthday and let us check out late. I'd definitely recommend the place and hope to return.

We stayed in the sea view deluxe, a spacious modern room with a pleasing color palette and wide views over greenery and the sea. There were plenty of power sockets and direct USB ports, so no adaptor was needed. The bathroom was spotless, with a rain shower option, and the lighting choices were good. The property is exceptionally well equipped and maintained, from the garden and landscaping to the pool, with clean strolling areas, nice benches, and a cute playground. The service and maintenance teams do an amazing job and set a very high standard compared with larger, better-known hotels. It's on a quiet road about 1 km from the main crab market area, so you'll need a vehicle, though the drive is easy.
