Lazy Bones

The owner and his family were super kind, and the whole place had a really chill vibe. Beds were comfy, rooms clean enough, and the shared toilets were good, though there was no toilet paper. Bedding was clean, and rooms without AC had the bug nets they need. The towels looked worn, and one smelled a little odd. AC was great, but sometimes it shut off because of the island’s infrastructure, which wasn’t the owners’ fault. Some upgrades would be nice, but for the price it’s great value, can’t complain!

We spent three nights at the lazy bones hostel and enjoyed every bit of it. It’s a quiet, peaceful place. The rooms were comfortable and the showers had great water pressure. The owner is the kindest person in Koh Rong Sanloem, and his children are so cute. We loved playing with them. One night he made us an amazing meal just for us. He also helped arrange a fishing trip, then let us cook what we caught on the BBQ at the end of the day. It was tasty!

Best hostel on the island! The manager was great, the service was excellent, and everything was clean. Good vibes and live music in the evenings, with a nice spot to hang out and chill.

We came over from another hostel because of the noise, and this place was much quieter. The cabins are lovely, surrounded by trees and plants, with a great communal area and facilities. It’s a little tucked away but still easy to get around the village. Lovely host and great service. Thank you Isan!
