Saracen Bay Resort

That small, almost private beach is the best place to swim in Saracen Bay, and they have free kayaks to use. Our room was spacious and really comfortable, with AC, hot water, and a fridge. Toiletries were plentiful and replenished every day. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and we enjoyed the food and drinks in the lovely dining area. The WiFi was strong, with two networks available. I wish I’d stayed longer, and I’ll definitely book here on my next visit.

This quiet corner of Saracen bay has what may be the island’s best beach. Breakfast was generous and carefully prepared, and the restaurant service was just as thoughtful. The staff do more than welcome you, they look after you. I’d recommend the resort to couples or solo travelers looking for some time to themselves. It’s a great choice if you want to unwind by the beach in a beautiful, squeaky-clean place on Koh Rong Sanloem.

We spent three nights here and got a free upgrade from a garden-view room to a deluxe villa. The staff were friendly and did their best to make guests comfortable. The beach was clean, and the place was cozy for relaxing. I tried a lot of nearby restaurants, but Saracen restaurant was better than all of them. The food was very good.

The rooms were clean, but the shower had no water pressure, and the restaurant was very basic. We asked for a room with two beds and were simply told, “not possible,” when we arrived. This doesn’t feel like a four-star resort, especially compared with others in Saracen. The hotel lists laundry services, a pool, a spa, and other things on Booking and Maps, but these weren’t available.
