Staff were very helpful and polite, and the service was good throughout. The room was generally kept clean with daily housekeeping. Restaurants and food stalls are nearby, and the highway to the airport is close. Naga is a 15 minute walk away, if you're looking for wealth and fortune!

The breakfast was very good, but the price feels high for what's offered. A lot of the online photos aren't even of this hotel, they're for a sister hotel on another street.

The rooms were okay, with newer furniture, and looked almost the same as at King grand hotel. I moved here after three weeks at King grand, expecting an upgrade because the rate was higher. Instead, the reception guy was extremely rude and unhelpful. I preferred the service at King Grand, and won't stay here again.

The street is the one drawback: it's chaotic and unkempt, though that's clearly outside management's control. Inside, the hotel is wonderful, with big, clean rooms and air-conditioning that you need in this heat. Breakfast was excellent, both the food and service. Try the rice porridge with dry fish.

The rooftop “pool” was the low point. It's tiny and only open from 9 to 6. Even though I rarely saw anyone using it, the cleaner would jump up from his phone as soon as I got there and start cleaning, spraying water on me or mopping under me. I couldn't relax and had to leave each time. The staff were great and the hotel was very clean. The immediate area isn't great, with a dirty road and few places to eat, though it's conveniently placed for the river and casino. Breakfast was great.
