The room was a good size for the price, with the basics like toiletries, AC and a mini fridge. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful, and they held my luggage while I was out. It’s close to Virak Buntham and the market, and there’s a small store nearby for snacks and drinks. The room door was kind of broken and took effort to close. Bathroom floor water also drained very slowly when showering or bathing.

The reception and security staff were friendly and helpful. The towels and bedsheets were clean, the mattress and pillows comfortable, and the room dark and quiet at night. There was plenty of hot water, the WiFi signal was strong with fast data speed, and the refrigerator seemed to work. But the overall cleanliness was close to disgusting. The toilet was partly blocked and nearly overflowed, the AC didn’t cool and the TV wouldn’t turn on. The door bolt wouldn’t engage. Ants were feeding on a gooey substance on the AC remote buttons, and small winged insects were crawling around everywhere.

The Wi-Fi is there, but the signal is weak, and there’s no window or view. The TV and safe didn’t work, and the air-conditioning runs constantly. Better stay away.

Right by the central market in Phnom Penh, so it’s an easy stopover. The staff are helpful, especially the friendly, attentive young woman at reception, and the security guard was great too. For the affordable price, I slept incredibly well: comfortable bed, double-pane windows, and carpeted hallways kept things quiet. I’ll stay here again and recommend it.
