The room was acceptable, but at night some unfamiliar people knocked on the door. The room lock also didn’t secure properly.

We paid $18 for one night, mainly because the guest house is next to the buses to Battambang for an early departure. The surrounding area has little to offer, with not many places to eat, and it’s too far from the city center for me to stay longer. The room was big and okay, with air conditioning and a private bathroom. The bed was more comfortable than what you usually get in Cambodia, and the shower had warm water, though the bathroom was a bit dirty. The woman at reception didn’t speak English, but we managed to communicate somehow with gestures.

I paid USD16.20 through Agoda, but the room was old and there were cockroaches at night. I was itching in bed, and the sheets didn’t seem to be washed after the previous customer left. It was a terrible bed to sleep in.

The host was kind and nice, and the Comfort House is close to some things. But my room was dusty and smelled of cigarettes most of the day.
