Le Mont Hotel

The staff were really nice, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was decent. The pool looks just like the pictures. There's only one elevator and it's pretty slow, but otherwise we had a great stay. I'd confidently recommend this place to a friend.

The A/C blew warm air instead of cooling, and I couldn't sleep until 5am. The refrigerator was useless because taking the key out of its slot cuts the power to it. There was no microwave either. At checkout, we were charged $2.50 each for two bottles of water and even a pouch of Lipton tea. So much for a 4 star hotel. It felt like a pure scam. I've stayed in 2 star motels better than this.

There were so many Chinese tourists that it felt like I was in China rather than Cambodia. The only elevator was very slow, and every time I got in, it had such a strong cigarette smell that it was hard to breathe in the closed space. The sheet in one of our rooms was dirty, the face towel was brown instead of white, and all the towels smelled of mold, like they hadn't been washed with detergent. This hotel was very expensive for such an unclean place. Do yourself a favor and spend another $10-$20 for a much better hotel, possibly a 5 star one.

The rooms were decent, but dark, and the A/C wasn't very good. The door lock had an annoying alarm that didn't work properly, and the in-room safe was broken and had no batteries when we checked in. The bathrooms could have been much cleaner, and the Wi-Fi was slow. Breakfast service was awful, with practically no food and bad coffee. Very bad hotel, 2 star at most.
