We shared many lovely meals at the outdoor restaurant next door, with its river views. The food was exceptional, and the chef and manager deserve credit for keeping the standards high. We also enjoyed the live bands at outdoor weddings. They usually finished by 10:00 p.m., and brought a joyful, romantic feel to our evenings. The view from our 19th-floor room over the Mekong River and Phnom Penh skyline never got old. I spent 30 days here visiting my wife, and by the time we left, it felt like leaving home. The building is luxurious, though a few spots show some wear and could use a touch-up. The multiple pools and gym were excellent, but it was the people who made the stay: from the 24-hour security team to management, everyone was kind in a way that felt personal. The cleaning staff worked tirelessly and kept every corner spotless. Their daily effort showed how much care goes into the building. If you're after more than just a room, this place offers a warm welcome. I left with a heavy heart and will definitely be back. Love ya, All β€οΈπβοΈπ¨π¦

After a week here, the many small hassles with elevators, access cards, and inconsistent staff had already made the stay frustrating. The worst part was the smoke. This is a smoking hotel, and when I returned to my room, everything smelled of cigarettes: clothes, towels, pillows, curtains, all of it. There was no way around it. Each day, they sprayed strong chemicals through the hallways to cover the odor, so you ended up breathing both cleaning products and cigarette smoke. It was unpleasant and unhealthy. When I brought it up, staff were dismissive and said nothing could be done. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless you smoke.

The food at the restaurant tasted good, and I enjoyed jogging along the riverbank in the evening. From my hotel window, the Mekong River view was fantastic. I had a perfect experience and would recommend it to my friends.

The room I chose was a bad one, but I still had a fantastic experience staying here for one night during Khmer New year. Merton has a mart, gym, Sona, swimming pool, restaurant, and picnic area with lots of trees and a river view from the room. I think the pool needs more privacy. I'd recommend it to people who like taking photos, you'll get great shots there.
