We only stayed one night, but could easily have stayed longer. The room was private, with a double bed, clean, and the AC worked great. It’s not high-end, but for the price it was fine, and the bed was super comfortable. There were no safes in the rooms, but there were some outside that you could secure with your own lock. Breakfast was included for us, though I don’t know if that’s always the case. There were five sets to choose from, each with an egg dish, bread, coffee or tea, and fruit salad. The house isn’t well soundproofed, so we could hear the hallways and a lot of conversations from neighboring rooms. Since it wasn’t really a party hostel and we mostly saw couples, it bothered us less than in other hostels. Most of the staff spoke little English. One guy during the day spoke okay English, and we booked our bus with him, but the others struggled.

Good location, clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well. The water was almost warm. I’m traveling by bicycle, and I could lock my bike to a pole in the small lower area. The family sleeps down there on cots, laid out at night. You’re right in the middle of a neighborhood with families and businesses, so now and then there’s noise from kids or dogs. Otherwise, it was good.

For the price, the private room I had for one night was quite decent and clean. Most of the staff spoke very little English, and sometimes they had to call someone over to translate. Their Killing Fields tour cost $10 for transport only, not the entry fees. That beat other prices I found in town, and if you ask, they’ll take you in a cool army jeep.

I liked the room style, with its glass wall and window. It made the place feel more relaxing, with fresh air. The staff were friendly, and everything was clean.

The room was nice, the staff were very friendly, and breakfast was good. Kids nearby sometimes made a bit of noise in the morning, but all in all it was a good stay for what we paid.
