We picked The Tribe because it was close to the Giant Ibis bus stop, so we didn't have to haul our luggage far. It's modern and well placed, with a couple of good restaurants nearby. We had dinner and wine at Le Manolis one night, almost next door. The room upgrade gave us a balcony, though it looked out over scruffy neighbouring buildings and didn't add much. Rooms are small, but smart, comfortable and well designed, with what you need. I was glad to have a Nespresso machine for proper coffee in the morning. The rooftop Khmer Funk is a nice spot, and you can use your welcome drink there. The choices were more limited than at other Accor properties: beer, a soft drink, or a mediocre gin and tonic. Still, sitting up there at sundown watching the city was lovely. The music wasn't my taste, but that's subjective. There's a small terrace pool, which my partner says is always in the shade. In Phnom Penh's heat, I don't mind that at all. The café, breakfast room, and co-working space are on the fourth floor. Breakfast was nice, though the selection wasn't as extensive as we've come to expect at Asian hotels. The team were friendly and helpful, and kept everything stocked. This was by far the cheapest hotel on our Asia trip, and for the price it's excellent value. Five stars from us.

I've stayed at the tribe five times now and enjoyed every visit. The staff and service are the highlight, easily 5+ stars, and it's good value for your money. The hotel is in the historic colonial Post Office area, surrounded by other colonial buildings, some being renovated. It's a few blocks from the Riverside, which might suit people who prefer a quieter spot, though that's why I rated the location lower. A condo complex went up after the hotel, I believe in a legal "grey zone," blocking much of the river view. Head to the rooftop pub for an excellent view of the river and Japanese Friendship Bridge, or book a room facing that way.

The staff made this stay for me. Housekeeping greeted me whenever we crossed paths and kept my room spotless, and the front desk team were consistently kind and helpful. I was there for a week in late Nov-early Dec 2025, got a complimentary upgrade, and enjoyed the river and city view. The rooftop bar has one of the best night views in town. The room was smaller than ones I've had at NagaWorld or Duong Chan, but the modern design made good use of the space, with good lighting and storage and a comfortable bed. The gym was a nice surprise too, compact but equipped with Technogym machines. I'd like to see yoga mats added, since that's a basic many travelers expect. For a 4-star property, it's also odd not to have disposable slippers in the room. I had brought a pair from another hotel, but TRIBE could provide them on request to reduce waste. It's easy to get around from this stylish, well located hotel, and the riverfront is close. A couple of small additions would bring it close to perfect. I'd happily return.

The rooftop bar has great views over the river and city, with a fully stocked bar serving light meals and snacks. Breakfast is comprehensive, and the hotel caters to tourists as well as business guests. Rooms are basic, suited to business travelers or people on a tighter budget. Staff are very friendly and helpful. It's a city centre hotel overlooking the river.

After our meeting, we stopped for coffee and breakfast, and the food was really good. The service staff, Vicheth, Heng, and Theara, were quick and helpful too. Big thanks! I'd highly recommend this place for meetings and events.
