The rain turned the dirt road into mud, and my bike couldn't get through, so I never made it to the place. Take care if you're coming by motorcycle.

We had small children with us, so we needed everything booked in advance. The day before we left for Asia, the owner emailed to say he couldn't host us because his insurance covered only two people, not four. I couldn't tell whether that was true. He said he'd find somewhere nearby, then stopped replying. Not a serious host, and I wouldn't recommend booking here.

It took some effort to find, but the place felt really natural and interesting, and getting there was worth it. Very peaceful and quiet, with lovely hospitality and superb breakfasts. Everything was very clean.

We'd booked and paid for four nights, but when we arrived we weren't allowed in. The place has apparently been closed and out of operation for over four years, yet bookings and payments are still being taken. The current listing on Expedia is supposedly a scam. We aren't convinced of that, since the owner didn't answer the emails sent to his Hotmail account, even though we had read receipts. Either way, this reservation is a scam. Paul & Hilde
