Emario Mondulkiri Resort

The wooden decorations look nice, but I wasn’t convinced the rooms were clean, and I’m not sure the bed sheets had been washed. The price also feels kind of high compared with other places in the province. It doesn’t really look like a resort at all.

A week before our trip, Emario staff called to say they had mixed up our booking with someone else’s and didn’t have the rooms for us. I’d booked eight rooms at Emario three weeks before travelling to Mondulkiri. We were 23 people and had to find somewhere else to stay. They couldn’t provide what we’d booked, and the service was dreadful. I don’t think I’ll ever consider going to Emario.

The room price wasn’t reasonable, and the place was expensive with bad service. The receptionists were rude. It felt like the resort only cared about getting money and not about its guests.

There’s lots of open space and we had fun here. It’s a nice, spacious place that works well for groups, though the rooms don’t have a view.
