333 HOSTEL, Siem Reap

The family running this guest house made an effort to ensure we had a pleasant stay, and they speak English well. It's a cozy, clean and comfortable place, conveniently positioned for walking or driving to downtown and the main sights. We enjoyed our time here a lot.

The owner speaks English natively and was helpful with advice and recommendations. I found the place extremely clean, with a lovely pool, and got a single room with a fan for an awesome price. Pub Street is around a 5-10 minute walk, which suited me: it's quiet here, without tuk-tuk drivers or women trying to pull me in for massages every few seconds. I moved here after a very poor night at another hostel, and was glad I did.

My room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It's close to the center and Pub Street, yet still quiet. I also met a lot of people to talk with and really enjoyed my stay.

The staff and owners made us feel very welcome, and I really appreciated their help with the arrangements. I booked the Angkor Wat sunrise tour and the Kampong Pluk floating village tour through the hostel. Both were great, and having a guide included was good value. They also booked my bus to Phnom Penh, which got me there in time for the night bus; the trip took about the seven hours they had estimated. The hostel is close enough to walk to Pub Street, but far enough from the noise to feel relaxing. I slept really well in the perfect bed. I stayed a few nights because it's right by the main area I wanted to be near. Great place, and they were very honest.
