Amber Angkor Villa Hotel & Spa

I wouldn't stay here again. The room wasn't properly cleaned, the bed was left unmade, and the towels weren't replaced, even though I left a tip. Then at 6 a.m. in the lobby, staff accused me of taking a towel. I offered to let them check my bags to clear it up, but they refused. Ten minutes later, they told me everything was fine. Being wrongly accused like that felt unprofessional and unacceptable.

I spent three nights here and loved the stay. My room, 319, overlooked the pool and was a good size. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was okay. It's close to the city center, too. Thanks, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Siem Reap.

I've returned to Amber Angkor Villa & Spa for several years during my annual visits to Siem Reap Cambodia, and I'd give it five stars. It's easy to get around from the Wat Bo location, either on foot or with a short tuk tuk ride, and plenty of restaurants and cafes are nearby. The pool area is lovely, with a well-stocked bar for relaxing after a day out. Breakfast has lots of options, and the other food is good quality, reasonably priced, and available all day. The hotel is very clean and well run, with spacious rooms that are always well serviced. Staff and management do all they can to keep us comfortable and happy. Wifi is available throughout. Highly recommended by this repeat visitor.

The price was low, but the service was top notch. Staff were very accommodating and gave me the room I wanted. The hotel isn't very new, but my room was clean, cozy, and had thoughtful details in its decoration. They also agreed to a late checkout without charging extra. I can't help giving it 5/5. I love it.
