Blue Palace Hotel Siem Reap

Just a couple of minutes on foot from the buzz of Pub Street and the Old Market, Glow Inn Siem Reap still felt like a quiet retreat. I loved the courtyard and pool, where I could unwind and feel at ease. It was a stylish, welcoming oasis in the heart of the city.

The staff were polite and very helpful when I sprained my foot. The location is central and great. My room by the pool was too noisy because of music at the pub next door, so I missed a night of sleep. The next day staff moved me to a much quieter room in the main building.

The staff were nice, that’s about it. For the price, the place felt small, and you could find somewhere better. My pillow and blanket were covered in stains, there was dust on the floor, and the pool looked dirty.

The location is central, just a few minutes’ walk from Pub Street, and the service earns two stars. But don’t expect the room shown in the photos: in person it was very different, small, and not clean or hygienic. At 30$/night, it felt very expensive. I planned to stay two nights but checked out after one because the electricity kept cutting out repeatedly at night. The location is worth considering, but not the room.
