Golden Temple Residence

Amy and I stayed at Golden Temple Residence from 18-22 January, and had a wonderful time. The team were warm, attentive, and friendly. Our room and the facilities, including the pool, were lovely. Breakfast was delicious and varied, and Rin was always happy to help. Supahl made the airport pickup and drop-off smooth and organized. The hotel arranged a spectacular two-day Magical Tour of the Angkor Wat Temples, one of the highlights of our stay. Kim was a fantastic guide, and we’d recommend the tour. After visiting the temples, we had a wonderful final meal at the residence. Dany and Sorn also gave us relaxing spa massages. Thanks to the whole team from Amy and Raj. Akun!

We spent a very pleasant week at the Golden Temple Boutique in Siem Reap. The location worked well for us, and the comfortable room had all the essentials along with just the right boutique feel. It was like staying in a green, hidden oasis in the middle of the busy city. The lobby and reception have an appealing indoor-outdoor feel, and after sightseeing we liked relaxing on the second-floor deck above the pool. The spa has a good range of treatments and flexible booking. We chose the breakfast plan and ate at the Golden Temple Residence across the street. The buffet had plenty of choice and excellent coffee, but the warm, attentive staff were our favorite part. Rin and her breakfast team made us feel so welcome that it was hard to say goodbye. The desk staff were friendly and accommodating too. I’d stay at the Golden Temple Boutique again.

Breakfast was a lovely part of our time in Siem Reap. The coffee was always fresh and well made, and there was plenty of fresh, flavorful food to choose from. Everything was presented nicely, and the dining area was spotless each day. From the moment we arrived, the breakfast team greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel looked after. Rin, the supervisor, deserves a special thank you for keeping things running smoothly. She and the whole team were kind, attentive, and professional. We highly recommend breakfast here as a great way to start the day.

We had a wonderful week at Golden Temple Residence in Siem Reap. Some people may be concerned about traveling there at the moment, but the city felt very safe to us, and everyone we met was welcoming. The hotel is modern, clean, and in a great location, with lovely amenities. We’d absolutely stay again. The hotel arranged a private Angkor Wat tour, including a driver who took us to each site in an air-conditioned car. We also enjoyed a beautiful breakfast on a boat on the river surrounding the temple. Afterwards, our guide brought us to a local artisan shop selling items made by local families, and we found some lovely gifts to take home. We were very happy with the whole experience.
