Horizons Cambodia

The staff made our visit especially nice. They were happy to arrange tuktuks, tours, and circus tickets. Our room was clean, with a/c and fast wifi. The hotel is in a quieter part of town, but pub street and the night market are still within walking distance.

The pickup was ready at the airport early in the morning, and the staff were so friendly and well informed. Everything was clean and organised, and I had a wonderful stay. The owner speaks Spanish and English fluently. You won’t want to leave, and I’ll be back!

Chanthou and his family made our time here really special. We’d met Chanthou, the owner of Horizons, six years earlier when he was my tour guide. For this trip, my wife and I wanted to see the sights around Siem Reap while staying near the markets and Pub Street. I contacted him, and he arranged a room, our itinerary, and a tuk tuk. The room was actually two rooms, a living room and bedroom. We don’t usually spend much time inside when we travel, but the bed was great, the room nicely appointed, and the aircon worked really well. Horizons has a quaint, homey feel. We loved sitting in the courtyard with other guests and staff. You come here to connect with people. The markets and Pub Street are a five minute walk away, and the area felt safe, with friendly people. We’ll return with our kids. I’d recommend Horizons to anyone who wants to learn about Cambodia and get to know some amazing people. If you’re after a big place full of hundreds of obnoxious tourists, this probably isn’t for you.

The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the location good. It’s a decent place for a decent price. I wasn’t keen on the small restroom with its wet shower. The tuk-tuk service is convenient, though you can find a much better rate elsewhere.
