La Rivière d' Angkor Resort

We had a fantastic stay at La Riviersa d'Angkor. The hospitality was great, and the staff helped us organize things to do. The location is convenient, with town and the river walk just outside the door. After long days out, the spacious rooms were so relaxing to return to. The pool and surrounding buildings have a historic, cooling feel that made it seem as if we were miles from town. Loved it!

We spent seven nights in a villa suite at this beautiful property, with its lush landscaping and pool. The location puts you right in the middle of everything, and breakfast was a nice touch.

The resort combines old colonial architecture with modern additions, and its location near the old market, pub streets, and places to eat is a real plus. There are halal and vegan options nearby, including Kebab & Falafel Time and The Little Red Fox Espresso Cafe. Our room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed, strong air conditioning, and a luxurious bathroom. The TV only had YouTube, though you can bring movies on a thumb drive for a cozy night in. The pool was lovely and very clean. Breakfast was simple but satisfying, with set menus and free-flow juices, coffee, and tea. Staff were helpful, polite, and hardworking. Prices were reasonable for the amenities, and I'd highly recommend this resort. I'll definitely come back to Siem Reap.

The location worked really well for us: we could walk to lots of shops and restaurants, but the hotel wasn't right by the busy, noisy streets. Our family of four, including two young kids, had plenty of room, and the room was comfortable. The property itself was beautiful, and the staff were so warm and helpful. Simon, the owner, also took time to share tips for Siem Reap. We'd happily stay here again.
