The bungalows are gorgeous and spotless, with so much care and detail put into them. The pool and restaurant were clean too, and the friendly, helpful staff made me feel at home right away. Lucy, their laid-back, lovely dog, is worth a snack and a cuddle. They take cash only, which was no problem for me, but good to know. I ordered a large pizza on my phone using the menu’s QR code, a clever way around language barriers or staff shortages. Pizza Bungalows is highly recommended!

Dom and his family and team were so welcoming that we extended our stay without any hassle. Nothing was too much trouble. Dom’s a brilliant bloke who built the whole site himself. It was being expanded while we were there, so we’d love to come back and see it when it’s even bigger.

We spent around seven nights here between visits to Elephant Valley Project and Jahoo, and I’d gladly come back. The owners were lovely, and the place was a wonderful base for adventures. There are nice bungalows, a pool, fire pits, hammocks and a beautiful swing by the creek. It feels like a peaceful haven.

Dom, the owner, was one of the kindest and most genuine people we met on our travels. The accommodation was comfortable and beautiful, and the garden felt so zen and relaxing. Eating and drinking there felt like being in a tree house. It’s perfectly placed for the elephant project, close to eateries and an easy walk into the village.

The rooms are really nice for such a cheap price, and the service is great. The laundry left my clothes smelling better than ever. It’s a beautiful jungle location where you can hear and see wildlife, and it’s next to the elephant project. You can also rent a scooter or bike for just 10 dollar.
