The staff were courteous and helpful, and I'm glad we chose to stay here. Our room was big, with a lovely view over the courtyard, and the breakfast spread was mind blowing and super tasty. Special thanks to Chef Zillur, who kindly made Indian dishes for my mom every morning. They were just FAB!

We stayed for three nights with five girlfriends and found it a lovely property. The new manager is a delightful addition, and the lunch was very good. The pool setting was beautiful, though the food menu was limited and the rose wine mediocre. The room card keys were sticky and needed jiggling around. Some parts of the property also looked a little worn and could use sprucing up. Highly recommended.

The hotel is a bit older, but the service more than makes up for it. It reminded me of St Regis service done right, with local charm and care. This is a rare case where long standing staff who care and are trained right make for a perfect stay. They always greeted us by name and seemed to know what we needed. The service was second to none, and it really felt like senior management had trained everyone correctly. Marriott should be looking for them to run their China hotels. Completely amazing. I stayed last month with my family.

The lawns give the hotel a pleasant break from the city's bustle, and the beds were comfortable. It looks attractive, and our deluxe rooms had good space and the expected amenities. Service was the letdown. We returned exhausted at 5 p.m. and found neither room had been serviced; turndown didn't arrive until after 9 p.m. At breakfast, nobody cleared the plates, and for all three days we had to track down our own coffee because the wait staff weren't giving us attention. We were platinum members, too. The team at Naga bar was the exception.
