The staff were kind and attentive, the beds were comfortable, and the villas are spacious and beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic, especially at the sunset bar. The pool villas are lovely, and this could be a great family holiday spot. A few basics let the place down: my pool light never came on at night, the room phones didn’t work, and staff weren’t easy to reach. They give you a personal WhatsApp number, but it’s not much help on their day off. There was a gap under the door that let insects onto the bed, especially at night. The resort is out in the countryside, pretty far from town. Also, take care ordering lunch: one set cost $45, and menu prices weren’t listed.

We stayed for three nights in a private villa with our own pool, and had massages, a daily chauffeur, and a personal assistant. It was an unforgettable stay. The venue, decor, and staff all felt perfect. This is by far the best place I’ve traveled to. Thank you to the staff for making it so memorable.

The view over the lake was amazing, and the staff were lovely. We also really enjoyed the food. The Khmer-style private villas are beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with trees and landscaping that make them feel incredibly secluded. I’d highly recommend staying here.

We enjoyed the restaurant a lot. Everything we tried was perfectly prepared, and the saltwater pool was lovely for a swim after dinner. We had bikes provided by the hotel and rode to the small village, though we enjoyed ourselves so much that we never took the tuktuk into town. Our tour had no trouble picking us up. The grounds and location were a highlight of our whole trip. It’s a beautiful, relaxing place with a real zen feeling, lovely pools, and thoughtful, friendly staff. We’d definitely come back.
