Ravel Boutique Hotel

I booked two rooms for three nights, April 14-17, through Agoda and confirmed everything with the hotel on Telegram. They canceled my Agoda booking but said they would still hold the rooms. A week later, they told me the property would close on the 17th, so I agreed to leave on the 16th. When I arrived at 6am, staff let me check in without mentioning an extra fee. Shortly afterward, the person I’d been messaging on Telegram contacted me about an early check-in charge. Nobody had explained it in advance, and they insisted I pay even after I complained. That evening they suddenly told me to check out the next day, April 15, during Khmer New Year, when most hotels in Sr were fully booked. The manager later said they wouldn’t charge us for that night, but moving at such short notice was extremely stressful and inconvenient. They said it was because of a visit from a Chinese ambassador, which seemed questionable since other guests continued staying as usual. The whole experience felt misleading and unprofessional, as if they favored guests paying more over people with existing bookings. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

They confirmed my two-night booking on Telegram, but when I arrived they said there was some issue with their towels and only had a room for one night. That was irresponsible. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The hotel was dirty, and even though it was empty, the staff put us in the wrong room. Breakfast was listed in the reservation but wasn't provided, and cash payment wasn't accepted. Don't rely on the website photos.

The people and the atmosphere made for a really nice stay. I had a great time and would happily come back ❤️
