Sweet Dreams Guesthouse

The quiet terrace was a lovely place to spend the evenings, and we were surprised by how much larger the pool looked in person than in the photos. Our room was spacious, and the meals were tasty and affordable. The red curry soup and veggie burgers were both $2-3, and I’d recommend them. Nini was so kind to us. When we asked at the last minute, he arranged our Angkor Wat tour. He also sent us off with water for the bus and picked up baguettes when we were getting up at 4am to see sunrise at Angkor Wat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to this guest house.

We really enjoyed our stay, and the location made it easy to walk to Pub Street, restaurants, and cafes. The owners were very nice, and he upgraded us to a suite with a private bathroom, which we appreciated. We visited in the dry season, when it was extremely hot. We had first booked a fan room, but upgraded to AC, which we definitely needed since we're not used to sleeping in that heat. The pool was clean and nice, there was drinking water, and the little restaurant at the front served yummy food too. Thanks!

Nini made us feel welcome from the start. He was kind, always smiling, and kept saying, “my home is your home”. We’d mostly stayed in hostels, so getting a room with aircon and a pool that we could afford seemed too good to be true, but it wasn’t. The room had loads of space, the aircon was a lifesaver, and the clean, lovely pool was big enough to swim laps. Outside, there’s a large balcony with fans and tables where we met tourists and locals and made friends for life. If you want a guesthouse in Siem Reap, this is the one.

I loved Sweet Dreams guesthouse so much that I added two nights to my stay. It was affordable, clean, friendly, and had everything I needed. There’s a pool, and they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I rented a motorbike there and booked tours through the guesthouse too. I’ll stay here again when I come back next year.
