We stayed five nights, and getting proper rest was out of the question. People in the village would suddenly play music loudly, and you never knew when it would stop. The bed and pillow felt like lying on stone, they were so uncomfortable. There wasn't any soap in the kitchen or bathroom, though I had brought my own. The place was full of unwashed dishes, which was disgusting. She also didn't return our money exchange. It may have been a small amount, but that didn't mean I didn't care. Basically, the worst experience ever.

There are local restaurants and fruit markets nearby, and Siem Reap is only 15 minutes away. The Green Home is a nice escape into nature, and I can really recommend it. The family were super friendly. We pretty much had the whole first floor to ourselves, where we could watch the sunset and do yoga. We had a really good time. Thank you.

The people were quite nice, but I still can't recommend staying here because of the room's problems. We had to pay upfront, even though the room wasn't in good condition. The mosquito net was attached to just one wall, and the ceiling fan was loud and wobbling dangerously, as shown in the photo and video. The shower only ran for about a minute before needing time to refill, though that may have been caused by recent power outages. It cost $7.5.

During Songkran, which is my favorite festival, the place was quiet and the welcoming family respected my privacy while I worked online. The neighborhood roads aren't paved, but the locals are friendly. I left my Kawasaki parked outside for three days and wasn't worried about theft. Being underprivileged doesn't mean someone is a criminal, a distinction worth making in light of other reviews.

The room didn't match what was shown on the booking site and didn't feel clean. The bath and shower were shared with other rooms rather than private. Early in the morning and late at night, the chickens crow and dogs howl loudly, so I wouldn't recommend this place to people who are sensitive to noise.
