We ate Cambodian food for breakfast and really enjoyed it, and you can order food for lunch and dinner too. I stuck with Asian dishes because I love that kind of food, though I saw other guests ordering cheeseburgers and other American food, and it looked good too. The staff, like the manager, were kind and professional. Mr.Kim was always ready to help or give useful contacts for travel. The rooms felt like big, comfortable suites with a minimalist, chic look. Wi-Fi was very good, with a strong signal everywhere and just one password for phones, tablets, and computers. The swimming pool was huge, almost like a lake, and the water was warm and without chlorine. It's a quiet place to stay for a couple of days and think about your Cambodian trip. Outside the lovely resort, the area might give you a bit of a shock, it looked like Beirut to me. But the resort always had a free shuttle minivan taxi available for guests to go to the city center, market, airport, or anywhere else in a few minutes. Good service! I've spent 40 years in Asia, and I think Cambodia will be one of the best countries for holidays on a modest budget, with kind, smiling people. It reminded me of Thailand 30 years ago, with one important difference: Cambodian people all speak English well. I just arrived from Thailand, and in year 2560, 2017 for Catholic people, many hotel and restaurant workers there still didn't understand English. I'm glad I learned Thai when I was in the diving school business 30 years ago. Otherwise, at my age, I'd be going crazy there! I think this resort is a good place to start exploring beautiful Cambodia. The seaside, including Kho Rong and other lovely islands, isn't far. They need our help after the country's troubles in the past, like Vietnam and other neighboring Asian countries. So if you trust a 60-year-old man who's spent 40 years in Asia, welcome to Cambodia. I love it! Happy holidays to everyone already here! Your MARIO
