The staff are lovely, and the place has a laid-back feel. It’s only about five minutes from the beach, with air conditioning and cheap beer at $0.75. The food was average and the place is a little worn down. My only real gripe is that they say online and at the office that cards are accepted, then refused to take mine.

We liked the friendly, safe feel, and there was a good spot to park well off the street. My girl and I had a quick swim, and the pool was nice. The bar stays quiet, plays good 70s music, and draught beer was 2500. There were a few backpackers, though mostly bar flies. Our room was a bit old and only cleanish, but the bathroom worked and everything was functional. We didn't try the restaurant. Could easily see staying there long term.

We only ended up sleeping here because we had no choice at the last minute. The beach is a three-minute walk away, but there's not much you can do there. The place is on a dark road, and you'll need a lamp to get to dinner a few hundred metres away. It was just okay, and I wouldn't come back if another option were available.

The room was decent, with a fan and a sea view, and the beach is about 100m away. Nothing fancy, but the staff were friendly. It was so quiet that it felt like being in the jungle.
