Seaview Inn

Alex, the owner, was very pleasant and considerate. He even brought me hot water because there wasn’t a kettle in the room. I spent one night at Seaview Inn after unforeseen circumstances at a nearby place. It’s downtown, a short walk from the cruise terminal and the pier to Nevis. That central spot also means noise: shops across the street blasted loud music from 7:30 each morning until after dark. There’s a restaurant on site that locals eat at too, so it must be pretty good, though I didn’t try it myself.

Customer service was really, really bad. The staff were rude and only spoke Spanish, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t speak Spanish. I paid 89usd for one night, and had to buy my own water and breakfast, nothing was included besides a shower. I also heard staff talking badly about guests. Since it operates as a restaurant and bar, lots of people came into the space to drink and smoke weed. That was just my experience at the time.

The decor looks great, and I’ll be sure to come back on my next visit. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and had the basics I needed. The place is within sight of the ocean and close to local spots and main attractions. Customer service was amazing, and there was tasty local food as well as continental options. The pictures I posted just reflect my specific diet.

Seaview is in a great spot for getting around the island or going to Nevis. The accommodation was nice, and the veranda was a lovely place to relax. Alex and the rest of the staff were super friendly and obliging. As an independent traveller, it’s always good to find a place like this. Thanks for a great stay.
