The beach is right there, and we could watch the sunset from this slightly old-fashioned condo. There’s a convenience store and coin laundry on the ground floor. I came with my family and really liked the location.

The room had a kitchen with pots, pans, silverware, and a medium-sized fridge, but it felt more like a motel room and had fewer amenities than one. You may want to bring what you need or buy it at the store inside. The view was nice, and the hotel guests were friendly.

The mud flats are full of life at low tide, and kids of any age seem to love digging around there. The beach is a fun, friendly, safe place for them, though some patches of gritty sand have trash in them. The facilities feel a bit weathered and parking gets crowded, but once you’ve checked in, there isn’t much reason to drive around. A great spot if you have kids.

I spent most of my time out on the beach, and there are several beaches close by, including one just outside the back door. The area is really nice, and there are cooking utensils and things in the room.
